School Decorum Discipline

At Children’s Academy we believe in all round development of every child. Our experience has proven that besides Education, proper understanding of Discipline and Decorum are equally important for overall development of the student. We urge all parents to be participative in this area and help us inculcate good manners and culture among every student.

Basic Discipline Guidelines

  • Students are expected to reach school ten minutes before the morning assembly. No student is allowed to come to school on a self driven scooter, motor cycle or a car.
  • All the students must wear neat and proper school uniform everyday and school functions. Students must wear Track suit on Wednesday & Saturday.
  • Boys are not permitted to keep long hair, Girls are not allowed to wear fancy jewellery nail polish, fancy hair pins etc. only red colour rubber bands are allowed to tie up the hair.
  • The students should bring diary and identity card to school every day.
  • Student's are advised to keep the classroom/campus as neat as possible and should throw leftovers into the dustbins only.
  • No child shall leave the school premises during school hours without prior permission of the Principal.
  • Students are not allowed to make phone calls except in an emergency; students are not allowed to receive visitors in school & should not carry mobile phones.
  • Students are expected to respect the property of others. This includes school property also. Students should not write or draw any thing on the walls. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the concerned class teacher.
  • No books (other than text books/Library books) magazines should be brought to the school without the Principal's permission.
  • Students should get their Report Card signed by their parents/guardians within seven days of its receipt.
  • Students of Children’s Academy should observe polite standard /norms where ever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their ideal and conduct.
  • They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences. Since it is co-ed. school it is expected that students behave in a manner which brings a good name to the school and should not indulge in any antisocial activities in or outside the school.
  • Students should be punctual, friendly, helpful and responsible.
Note-
  • Any fancy items found with child shall be seized and returned to the parents which shall cause undue inconvenience to both the parents as well as the school staff, therefore it is advised not to give such items to the students. No Cash shall be given to children under any circumstances. Jeans are not allowed.

Absence Policy

  • Students who have been sick should bring a Medical Certificate from their doctor on re-joining school. A copy of the Certificate is to be submitted and signed by the Class Teacher for follow up action.
  • Parents should fill up the "Record for Non Attendance" for each day the student is absent from school stating the reason for absence.
  • No one, who has been absent on the previous day shall be admitted to class without a letter from the parents, addressed to the Class Teacher stating the reason for the absence.
  • Repeated Absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than six consecutive days shall render the student liable to have his name struck off the rolls. Re-admission may be granted only on payment of a fresh Admission Fee.
  • Absence for more than three days immediately after vacation shall render the student liable to pay a fine of Rs. 10/- per day. Those who become absent because of sickness, must present a Medical Certificate before they may be admitted to the class.
  • It is compulsory for the students to complete 80% of their Attendance during the year to make them eligible to sit for their Final Examination. The percentage however, could be relaxed on Medical grounds, but such students shall not be eligible to sign the Roll of Honour or receive any prizes
  • Students who do not take their First Term and Second Term Examination and absenting themselves from tests will have to pay a fine as decided by the Principal at the time of Examination.

Develop These Habits

  • Budget your time, with useful Time Management.
  • Organize yourself and start as early as possible because the morning hours are the most valuable for serious work.
  • Allot more time for important work to be done on a day as it saves your precious time.
  • Rest Periods are advisable but keep them short (5 minutes or so). Longer Time Rest destroys the momentum.
  • Keep a Diary or a journal; it will help you to identify your good days and bad days.
  • Remember that you will be wise not to generally depart from the pattern of hours.
  • Understanding a subject helps new learning. This can come only when you think new knowledge to old and you organize and systematize this knowledge.
  • Thinking over the subject, writing summaries, talking to other students, help fix it clearly in mind.
  • Relearning and revising help to keep knowledge at functional levels. Set your Children's Academy is wisely and work towards achieving them in a planned manner. You will make it a grand success.
